A couple of months ago, Henry's first grade teacher read a book to his class called Flat Stanley. It's basically a story about a boy who gets flattened by a bulletin board (kinda morbid for a kids story). But Stanley discovers that since he's flat, he can fit in an envelope and be mailed anywhere in the world for the cost of a postage stamp - boy, wouldn't that be nice. Henry's class decided to make a flat likeness of themselves to be mailed to a friend or family member in a different state to have an adventure. Henry mailed his "flat" self to his aunt Hailee in Phoenix.
What we didn't expect was the way fun book that Hailee and the kids sent back to Henry last week:
Isn't that so cute?
Hailee even put the extra little faces she made in a pouch at the back of the book!
This was the best thing we've gotten in the mail in a really long time!
