Now that we've added a microwave and our stove from our house in Arizona, we decided to buy a stainless steel diswasher to match. When Nathan pulled out the old dishwasher, it revealed the original vinyl that was probably put in the house when it was built in 1979. I love it! It would totally go well with the green walls and dark brown cabinets that I'm going to paint in the kitchen. Too bad it's been covered with ugly ceramic tile! It's really been interesting discovering things that have been covered up over time in this old house.

Too bad you can't get any of the vinyl up off the floor. It would make a fun back splash or you could frame a few squares and put them up on the wall. BTW, I love your brick fireplace!
