The kids started spring recess Thursday. I woke up that morning when the kids came in my room with a plate full of pancakes. I was so confused! I kept rubbing my eyes to see if what I was looking at was real. The kids actually made pancakes all by themselves - and they were good! They found a recipe in one of my cookbooks and made them from scratch. I realized that I don't give my girls enough credit. I still treat them like little kids. I bet they can do more than I think they can. I'll try letting them do their own hair, more cooking in the kitchen and definitely harder chores!
