Mother's Day has come and gone again. It was nice, as usual. Samantha and Gillian made chocolate gravy and homemade biscuits and everyone served it to me in bed. Sweet! There were also some handmade cards and $100 on my breakfast tray. Even more sweet! The Young Men gave the moms chocolate dipped strawberries at church. In the evening, we got to talk to Grandma (face to face on Skype) and Nana (on the phone since she didn't have access to a computer). After the boys went to bed, my daughters set up a spa in the basement and rubbed my shoulders and gave me a pedicure. Ahhhh. While that was going on, Nathan brought me a fancy chocolate ice cream bar and a glass of sparkling juice. Doesn't get much better than that!
I'm always a little sad to have the royal treatment for Mother's Day end . . . but not too sad, because in reality, my family treats me very well. For the most part :)
