Yea, I know Christmas was almost three months ago, but I'm not as behind on my blogging as some others... This December, we planned on going down to AZ right after Christmas as usual, but then we changed out minds and decided to go before Christmas . . . and didn't mention the change of plans to our parents:
It was kinda fun going to bed Christmas Eve in my parents house - something I haven't done in 15 years.
New pj's
Here are some random (and blurry) shots of Christmas Day with both sides of the family.
Thanks Nana!
Somehow, we all ended up wearing purple.
Gotta make a trip to see Grandma in the Mountains.
Henry and Elliot shakin' their booties with the dancing Santa:
Cousins' party
As always, and to Nathan's despair, we attended the Fiesta Bowl Parade. This year it was brrrrrr. This is the only picture I liked from that event:
This is how the kids looked when the adults left them to go out to dinner New Year's Eve.
And this is how the kids looked the night before we came back home.
It was a good surprise. Now what have you been doing since then? Nathan should call his mother once in awhile and let her know what you all are doing. Did you have spring break?
We've been married for 15 years - Nathan jokes that it feels like MUCH longer! We have four children: Samantha(14), Gillian(12), Elliot(9) and Henry(7). Nathan is a Civil Engineer, and recently became a Professional Engineer. I am a stay at home mom and I work part time as an instructional assistant at an elementary school. A few years ago, we moved from Arizona to Sandy, Utah. We miss our family, but we definitely don't miss the heat and the desert! We are enjoying the mountains, canyons and abundant wildlife that Utah has to offer - not to mention, actual seasons!
